Wood shredder with PTO drive for the professional and fast
processing of wood up to 25cm in diameter. Suitable for medium and
larger tractors between 65hp and 100hp with Cat. I / Cat. II
three-point hitch.
The Fred BX-92RS delivers optimal performance at about 70 to 90
horsepower horsepower. With the aid of the tractor hydraulics, the
wood is pulled into the shredder by pulling the wood into the
hopper by two counter-rotating spiked rollers. This makes fast but
also comfortable work possible. Both feed rollers are mounted on
both sides with high-quality ball bearings, so that a uniform work
is secured without misaligned. The large safety bar serves to
control the hydraulic function and regulates the direction (VOR -
ZURüCK - STOP) of the feeder, so that blockages can almost always
be eliminated by the "reverse gear". With the feed speed, which can
be infinitely adjusted via a hydraulic valve, shredding performance
can be very easily matched to the type and diameter of the wood.
On the 225kg heavy rotor of the BX-92R are mounted four 32cm long
knives made of hardened tool steel that shreds pieces of wood up to
25cm in diameter into 3 to 8cm pieces. The discharge funnel is
located at a height of 220 cm and can be rotated through 360
degrees. Depending on the position of the deflector flap, it
achieves an ejection distance of up to 12 meters. The filling of
trailers, containers or BigBags is purposefully possible. The
capacity is approx. 12m3 / h depending on the type of wood.
For transport, the funnel can be easily folded up and secured with
a cotter pin. To facilitate folding, the shredder has 2 shock
absorbers. Even with the BX-92R you get access to the rotor and the
knives by loosening only one screw, so that maintenance work can be
carried out quickly and easily. Due to the strong suction of the
125kg rotor with additional wings, clogging of the BX-92R is almost
impossible. Since the hydraulic feed rollers can turn backwards at
any time, blockages can be effectively eliminated in the shortest
possible time.
The BX-92R comes with a power take-off shaft with a friction clutch
for optimal and safe power transmission from the tractor.
